Sports Documentary Filmmaker Series

The Sports Documentary Filmmaker Series, launched in the winter of 2015, brings sports documentarians to the Marist College campus to screen and discuss their films. Following each screening, filmmakers hold a Q&A period with the audience, discussing both the process and content of their respective films. The screenings are free and open to the public. This series builds on society’s growing interest in long-form sports narratives and helps serve the Marist community, the larger community of the New York Hudson Valley, and the filmmakers themselves. Most screenings will be held in the screening room in the lower level of the Lowell Thomas Building on the Marist campus. For more information on the series or individual events, please contact Center director Keith Strudler at Keith.Strudler@marist.edu.
